We don’t know about you but over here we’re being worn out by cold feet and greyish weather. High time for an exotic holiday and we’d like to take it in … Berlin. Say what ? Yep, Berlin because we love exotic holiday.
Fortunately for us, the tropics are not that far because Berlin boasts the largest indoor/outdoor waterpark in the world. Forget the tropics and skip that trip to the rainforest A drive to Krausnick, sixty kilometers south of Berlin, brings you to the biggest indoor water paradise in the world. The complex, which in the past was used to manufacture Zeppelins (you know, those gigantic flying blimps), has an area of 66,000 square meters which is equivalent to eight football fields. Moreover, there’s an imitation jungle with more than 50,000 plants and trees straight from Borneo while the entire hangar is filled with pools (the pools are at a comfortable 32° Celsius, that is 89.5° Fahrenheit), water slides, whirlpools, waterfalls, caves, saunas and restaurants. You may also hop in a balloon in order to float over the ‘jungle’ and admire all the things happening beneath you. In the evening, the ‘beach’ lightens up in a romantic way with torches and visitors can admire exotic shows. Kinda of a super-fun-happy-slide Amazone trip without the bugs and such.
