Dutch artist Suzanne Jongmans creates these amazing medieval clothing of recycled stuff and creates collars, caps, … with them that draw deeply on the style of Dutch and Flemish ‘Golden Age’ paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries. That particular period was characterized by classical aesthetic standards and was inspired by the lives of actual, living people. Artists like Rembrandt and Jan de Bray epitomize the period. With her recycled creations Suzanne Jongmans definitely brings a beautiful revival of the amazing period in history. www.suzannejongmans.nl
