To celebrate its 50th anniversary, BRITA launches a limited edition water filter can in innovative materials and drie beautiful glittering colors: the black, silver and gold Marella’s.
The BRITA saga starts in 1966 with a progressive idea of Heinz Hankammer to optimize and improve tap water in a practical and simple way. The first products were actually hand made by the family of Heinz Hankammer. In the beginning of the 80s the “Domestic Waterfilters” were not only offered on the German market, but also sold throughout Europe. Today BRITA – named after the daughter of the founder – is a leading company when it comes to water filtration. The family business has spread out into 23 national and international daughter companies and branches with almost 1500 staff, besides participations in the distribution and industry in more than 60 countries on all continents. Since 1999, Heinz Hankammer’s son Markus is at the helm, continuing the vision of the company, “changing in a durably manner the way people drink water”.
Every year, when the festive season approaches, the company launches a special version of her popular “BRITA fill& enjoy Marella Glitter” collection. The cover and handle of these Marella cans contain glitters, while the can body is transparent. The funnel is of course colored to match the cover, which can be executed in black, gold or silver. Black add this touch of chic elegance to your room, silver matches with modern chrome and steel, gold gives a classic warm touch of festivity and luxury. The glitter particles are also reflecting, and this transformed optical structure gives the impression of a metallic shine.
An elegant way to care for the environment
BRITA allows you to drink water with a clear conscience. Not only is the regular use of the BRITA filter can good for your wallet (the suggested price of this special edition Marella Glitter Pack is € 27,50, including two filter sets), but you are also kind to the earth’s natural resources as you avoid plastic waste by using the filler cans. In many countries, the BRITA filter sets can also be recycled. It is good to note too that, except for the cover, you can put the BRITA can in the dishwasher, and it has a reliable indicator – dubbed BRITA Memo – when the filter set has to be renewed. Last but not least it is good to know that the total volume of the can is 2,4 liters, and 1,4 liters of filtered water.
