From April 16 to September 29, 2013, the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art invites the Australian sculptor Ron Mueck to present his hyper-realistic works in Paris, works that are both moving and disturbing, marking his comeback to Europe. After the success of 2005 at the Fondation Cartier, the new exhibition is the most complete and most current production of the artist. Besides six recent works, the expo will unveil three sculptures created especially for the occasion. These works, revealed within the privacy of a formerly unedited film, reaffirm the modernity of Mueck’s art close to the edge, with a powerful and evocative panache. www.fondation.cartier.com
