We’re sincere admirers of Swedish design, so when IKEA asked us to assist at the launch party of its spanking new 2017 PS collection, we were kind of intrigued and said yes. Little did we knew that we were in for a treat at Atelier Christophe Coppens in Brussels. The Swedish flat pack furniture brand revamped the complete four stories place to show of their new PS collection at media professionals, bloggers, influencers and the numerous crowd present. No rules, no limits is the name of the game in the new IKEA PS 2017 collection: ultimate freedom with an inspired industrial collection of 50 objects within the theme ‘Live It’, designed for those who refuse to adapt to the standard werk-eat-sleep rhytm. For the urban collection seventeen reknown designers worldwide did their thing and created some pretty amazing objects that combine future proof design with budget friendly quality.

Question it. The IKEA PS 2017 collection is all about choosing things that you want to live the way you want. Things that you can easily pick-up from one side of the room to another or from house/apartment to house/apartment as you like. Furniture that makes your life lighter instead of chaining you to bulky, heavy and human-unfriendly furniture. A foldable bench or a foldable table that fades the boundaries between indoor and outdoor is a good example.

Or what about an awesome IKEA PS 2017 rocking chair that brings you together ? Just get cosy together and start rocking in your (love)chair. Or the most cosy sofa ever with lots of cushions from the Rotterdam design duo Truly Truly. Shine it. The lighting elements from the IKEA PS 2017 are pretty amazing too. Take a look at the marvel of French designer Matali Crasset with a chargeable, multifunctional LED lamp that you can carry wherever you go. Hell, IKEA even has thrown in some food stuff for those who want to do whatever they want to whenever they want. Little bags of cereals, instant drinks and Scandinavian herbmix when every minutes counts. Check it out over at IKEA. Really worth it !
