Oh well, it makes no sense hiding we’re fans of the French luxury house Louis Vuitton. From the classic damier pattern to the funky Chaine Louise GM, we’re hooked. But hey, let’s not talk handbags but focus on the gorgeous Fall/Winter 2017 runway show that was held at the famous cour Marly inside the Louvre Museum in Paris just a week ago. Artistic Director for the women’s collection Nicolas Ghesquière’s new collection fitted the space like a glove with a mix of colourful, tight silhouettes conceived with mixed high-end materials (leather and fur being omnipresent) made for the über city girls. Mental note: talking about a Fall/Winter 2017 collection doesn’t do any good to the collection because Ghesquière’s approach didn’t seem to be seasonal but rather with a focus on boundlessness for the luxurious urban dwellers. Perhaps the show was a fashion statement that reacts to the tightening of borders all over the world ? We don’t really know but it looked very worldly. Enough said. Check out the video above or admire some silhouettes below. Enjoy !
