Yes, we buckle up almost every day but not for an instant we thought that a seat-belt could have such potential in becoming a true masterpiece. Body of evidence: this beautiful Reclaimed Seatbelt Chair designed by Adam Barron, a student at the University of Cincinnati. The chair not only makes a huge style statement but is also eco-friendly since it has been made from discarded steel rod frames and seat-belts. With the Seatbelt Chair, the designer wants to communicate the five Japanese design principles: humor, craftsmanship, compactness, asymmetry and simplicity. This is one beautiful piece of design in which we would completely feel safe. Hands up for Adam Barron !
