The Soundbarrel by SaeJoung Kou takes a complete different approach on modernity with sleek yet retro inspired looks. The designer has chosen for a vintage, camera looking style that should really appeal to nostalgic audio fans.
Taking inspiration from the acoustic qualities of string instruments like the violin, SaeJoung Kou crafted the SoundBarrel from timber, giving it a natural capacity to deliver great audio despite its rather small size. Together with that SaeJoung Kou also embellished the Soundbarrel with a camera lens’ aperture style front. The aperture fins are however more than just good looks. They also serve as an equalising element while forming small or large openings. Love it ! Through: www.yankodesign.com
