The Faculty Club is a name that generates quite some buzz in the city of Leuven (Belgium) and beyond. Numerous parties have set the mood at this historical place in the heart of this university city. But under the new management of Peter Herbiest this lovely place turns up the vibe.
The Faculty Club Garden Lounge is a new oasis where epicureans can enjoy a nice glass of bubbles/cocktails/gin-tonic’s and some delicious nibbles to go along. Therefore, the Faculty Club Garden Lounge is a nice addition to the portfolio of services offered by The Faculty Club such as weddings, seminars, fine dining, ….
The mood in The Faculty Club Garden Lounge is that of a real club with comfortable, modernist seating elements to enjoy and relax and soft, relaxing music by guest dj’s on regular occasions in the courtyard of The Faculty Club. When seated in one of the cosy lounge sofas, one quickly realises that this kind of classy outdoor venues was missing in Leuven until the opening of The Faculty Garden Club Lounge. But there’s more to enjoy at the Faculty Club (Garden Lounge): live cooking sessions by restaurant Arenberg, fresh roasting of coffee every monday afternoon and ‘high tea’ on thursday afternoon to name a few things that make the Faculty Club really worth a visit. Oh yeah, don’t forget the à la carte restaurant where chef Pieter De Keyser pampers you for lunch or diner with top creations.
According to new manager Peter Herbiest, The Faculty Club Garden Lounge wants to be an easy accessible spot to enjoy the finer things of life in an elegant clubbing (light) formula to enjoy with family and/or friends. Last but not least: The Faculty Club as well as the Faculty Club Garden Lounge are the only places in the world where you can wine, dine and relax within architecture that is classified as UNESCO world heritage. Isn’t that amazing ? We’ve experienced it and can admit: mission accomplished. www.facultyclub.be
