The Scandinavian fashion label Vila launches a remarkable campaign this spring, with Belgian model and fashion Blogger Paulien Riemis (Polienne.com). Paulien took her best friend Robin to the Sziget Festival in Budapest to show off her favourite festival outfits selected from the Vila spring collection. The result is a capsule collection fit for dreamers, absolute feelgood items who are not only refined, subtle and feminine, but also have a distinct character.
A cooperation between Vila and Pauline was written in the stars long ago. From the early beginnings of her blog back in 2009, Pauline wears Vila regularly. And the love comes from both sides: Pauline embodies totally the young woman for whom Vila designs clothes. She strikes the perfect balance between femininity, refined elegance and simplicity. Vila expresses all this in its collection: subtle elegance paired with individuality.
Flower child with a zest of rock…
The capsule collection is built around six key looks. Lace and embroidery, mixed with an army jacket for just that bit of extra edge.
On a festival, jeans is of course a must, so Pauline selected a comfy but übertrendy denim jumpsuit and two off shoulder dresses which truly stand out, made in denim and in lace.
Pauline’s favorite look is the long dress with lace and embroidery. “What I like most is that I can wear this on a festival, an evening party, or a beach holiday”, she says. “It’s versatile and looks just great”.
… and a rebel with a pastel palette
Pastel colors can have zest, and Pauline proves this with a soft pink bomber in suede look which she combines with a loose striped short. Another remarkable combination is the lace maxi-skirt, which she wears with a loosely knotted pinstripe shirt.
The Vila collection is available from 15 March onwards, online and through selected Vila sales points.
