When you have the opportunity to visit a sanctuary of craftsmanship such as the watchmaking manufactory of the luxury house of Cartier in La-Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland) you somehow feel very excited. This time however, we don’t want to talk about the Cartier watches but rather about the delicious cuisine that equals the fine and sophisticated atmosphere at the Cartier walhalla of watchmaking. After all, we were lucky enough to have lunch at this watchmaking branch of the French house which name makes people buzz all over the world. Here’s an overview of the WOW* plate(s) we got.
Beef carpaccio with truffle oil, roasted hazelnuts and eastern mesclun.
Fillet of turbot swimming in bergamot, fondant potatoes and vegetables with Asian flavours.
Soufflé with exotic flavors, coconut sorbet.
