If you’re a fashionable girl but also wan’t to save the planet from ecological destruction you’ll will almost always end up looking geeky and nerdy with clothing and accessories that look like you’ve just returned from an ecological raid with your fellows from te eco-resistance. News flash: now all these worries lie behind you with this utterly stylish bag. The Diffus Solar bag is innovating in that sense that it surpasses the fumbling looks that eco stuff usually has. This chic solar-powered hand bag, called Carryall by Diffus, is a design novelty because it uses the photovoltaic cells on the the bag as a design element rather than hiding them with layers of covering material. Swiss embroidery company Forster Rohner and the Alexandra Institute have assisted Diffus to attach 100 tiny solar panels on the bags’ exterior. Result: a fashionable it-bag that has enough juice to power up your cellphone or other mobile device. Opening the bag also activates fiber optics integrated inside, so finding your keys at night is a snap. www.diffus.dk
