Moët & Chandon celebrates love with the Rosé 2018 Capsule Collection, inspired by Madame de Pompadour and its partnership with Uber. The most popular champagne in the world today proudly unveils the Rosé 2018 Capsule Collection. This limited edition is an original and contemporary tribute to Madame de Pompadour, the 18-century it-girl and most powerful confidant of King Louis XV. This young lady allowed Moët & Chandon to sparkle in the French royal court and introduced the French champagne house to its influential royal entourage. Reportedly, she once called champagne the only wine a woman can drink without losing her beauty. For this limited edition bottle, which is completely in spirit with the legendary savoir-fête of Moët & Chandon, the brand is inspired by the world’s first it-girl and tastemaker – conceived as a moodboard for a visit to a masked ball in royal circles. Up front, as it were looking into the lens, the Marquise adorns her inseparable modern courtesans: a woman dressed like a peacock, a cabaret-style girl, and finally a seductive gentleman with a rock and roll look.
The collage-like design recalls the mix of cultures that applied from the 18th century when artists from various disciplines met and inspired the royal court. The Rosé 2018 Capsule Collection with its Pantone Rose Quartz has a stylish pink color and functions like a playful catwalk. Other shades of pink, coming from a bunch of flowers or two lips on the bottle, reflect in a generous way the colorful nuances of the Rosé Impérial. A champagne, known for its beautiful color, its intense fruitiness and its irresistible taste palette. The bottle and gift box from the Moët & Chandon Rosé 2018 Capsule Collection will be available at selected wine merchants from February 2018 onwards (until exhaustion of stock).
