Sure, social media apps like Instagram can be lots of fun but every now and then you just can’t avoid that lack of sensorial sensation that you have with a real photo gliding through your hands. That void should be filled through ‘Instaprint by Breakfast’ which is a concept of a location-based photo printing boot that allows Instagram users to print out their filtered smartphone images. ‘Instaprint by Breakfast’ should be able to provide Polaroid-like, ink-less paper prints to those who tag their Instagram photos correctly. Powered by Linux computers, these small booths connect to smartphones via WiFi. Multiple Instaprints can be daisy-chained together for bigger events. Prototypes of ‘Instaprint by Breakfast’ have been circulating around the celebrity sphere at events like The Grammy’s and Lady Gaga concerts. The Brooklyn-based design studio hopes to introduce them on a consumer level by raising $500,000 on Kickstarter. Check their project out at Kickstarter
