Don’t be mistaken: the ‘Inspiration Chair’ is not yet another bean bag. This is a true design object that you can mold to suit your own mood or aesthetic viewpoint. Instead of remaining malleable at all times, the ‘Inspiration Chair’ can be suctioned into staying in one shape for however long desired.
Designed by Lapo Germasi, a 24-year-old Industrial Design student from Italy, the ‘Inspiration Chair’ is made out of a electro-welded PVC cube, low-density polyurethane balls and a suction valve. “An empty solid but full of air, elements inserted into it but who fill it only partially. A fictional form, so simple but in become, a shape without shape. Potentially all or nothing”, dixit the designer. We haven nothing to add to that except that we’re crazy about the idea.
